When I started my driving lessons with Rachael, I really had very low confidence in my abilities and was quite a nervous driver. I found that Rachael boosted my confidence more and more each lesson and I soon become very comfortable with driving and I quickly picked up the skills I needed. Every lesson was thoroughly enjoyable and I learnt so quickly. I would recommend Rachael to anyone; she is absolutely fantastic and helped me to pass my test first time with only 1 minor!!!

Rachael always planned & told me what I would do in my next lesson and explained everything crystal clear! After every lesson I felt really good and felt I was achieving and improving all the time. With Excelerate I enjoyed it so much, it really boosted my confidence. I found the lessons excellent and would definitely recommend Excelerate to everyone! Learning to drive with Rachael was an absolutely fantastic experience. Rachael was recommended to me by several friends who had learnt with Excelerate and found her to be brilliant. In the lessons she created a positive and relaxed learning environment and was really enthusiastic and encouraging and never let me doubt myself. This really helped me to pick up the essential driving skills and built my confidence on the roads. Right from my first lesson I was made to feel comfortable as Rachael was so warm and friendly and it didn’t take long to establish a great relationship with her. I really looked forward to my lessons as I knew I would have a thoroughly enjoyable time because not only would I feel like I had made real progress, but would have had a jolly good natter at the same time.

Each pupil has their own progress chart which has different categories so you can see where you are improving, and also at the beginning of each lesson you have a recap to remind you what you did and how well you did last lesson and targets are set at the end of the lesson for next time. This I found to be extremely useful.

On passing my test, I had no hesitations in going on to complete my PassPlus course with Rachael which involved a whole days driving involving skills such as motorway driving, driving in the city centre and night time/weather driving. I had no qualms about learning these new skills as I knew Rachael would help me and give me the encouragement and confidence to succeed.

Not only was Rachael an excellent teacher but she also became a good friend. Although I was elated when I passed my test, I was also disappointed to think that this would mark the end of my lessons with Rachael as I enjoyed them so much. I would recommend her to anyone.
